About the Event
Caring for someone living with dementia often means adapting to changes that go beyond memory.
In this session, Physical Decline and Fall Prevention in Dementia, Consuela Marshall, Occupational Therapist, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, will help caregivers recognize physical changes that may increase fall risk and understand how dementia can affect mobility and safety.
Caregivers will learn practical, low-cost strategies and simple changes they can use at home to reduce fall risk, support safer movement, and protect both their loved one and themselves throughout the caregiving journey.
