Titan Tuesdays: Health Disparities and Medical Research

Join us tomorrow evening, March 8th on Facebook Live, for Titan Tuesdays, a candid conversation about topics relevant to caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's or related dementia.

This month's guest is Dr. Stanita Jackson. Dr. Jackson has served as a College Professor at Dallas College, Richland campus since 2015. She educates health profession majors on biological concepts related to public health. She currently serves as an Executive Board member, a Community Educator, member of the Medical Research, Diversity and Inclusion, and Care and Support Advisory Councils for the Dallas and Northeast chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Jackson joins us to discuss the important topic of health care disparities, how we can undermine the structural inequities that contribute to these disparities and the role of medical research and research study participation by people of color.
